I believe most Americans are concerned about the lack of trust and accountability that is associated with their representatives in public office. All public office representatives have a commitment to their public to perform their duties in a manner that is beneficial to their constituents and not to their personal benefit, gain, or agendas. Everyone in public office must be held accountable for his/her actions! There must be a consequence for bad behavior, performance, deceit, and criminal malfeasance. I am asking all public office appointees and representatives to sign the Contract for an Accountable and Ethical America in order to further develop pride, loyalty, commitment and trust with our government and those that represent us!

The public, for which we serve, has entrusted their faith and support in my nomination to public office. For this trust, I must be held accountable for my actions, allegiances, relationships and ethical behavior while serving the public and fulfilling their needs and expectations. I, as an appointed public official, do give my solemn pledge under oath, that I will perform my duties and responsibilities with a moral aptitude and an honest approach to all my decisions, actions, and outcomes. If my behavior or activity is deemed immoral, unethical, dishonest, or prejudiced, I will welcome a full investigation as to the alleged wrongdoing and if verified and substantiated, I will remove myself from office and accept any penalties or other legal consequences, as assessed by the local, state, or federal investigating agency. I am making a commitment to my public constituents and to America.
