Politicians make promises when they need voter support, but may falter when it comes time to deliver on those promises.
I know that I personally have experienced false promises from my representatives. My trust in their truthfulness has thus been exhausted. Conclusion: These political officers are not looking out for their constituents and are not doing their job. Solution: Let others know of their inadequacies and vote them out of office!
I know, if elected, I will be taking a hard look at local and state government practices and already have some ideas on corrective measures to hold these governments accountable for their actions and establish policy development to ensure appropriate government responses. Keep in mind, the government reports to the voters, not the opposite.
Florida, as a state, is faced with money shortages, just as most states are. Programs must be evaluated for their contributions and failures. I am most interested in contract reviews and the bidding process. I am not a proponent of waste and will be looking into the cost-benefit relationship of existing programs and future program allocations.
I refuse to duplicate the type of poor representation I have received from my elected officials and will not ask for your trust, but will insist that you hold me accountable. I will tell you now; I will run my district and the state like a business. I will establish accountability, customer service, reduce waste/risk, and I will hold others responsible for their actions, behaviors, and performance.
I am an Independent and am not a believer in party politics (Republican vs. Democrat). I am only interested in the defined issues, their effect on local/state population, cost/benefit analysis, resurce allocation/utilization, budget impact, timeliness, and need.
Politicians make promises when they need voter support, but may falter when it comes time to deliver on those promises. I suggest we hold our politicians accountable.
