As an Independent, I don’t care if you are a Republican or a Democrat. However, I do care about actions and produced results. You see, actions have consequences!
If you are an incumbent, I am evaluating your voting record and how those votes have produced success or failure. Also, the incumbent must elaborate on why they voted, as they did. Was this an independent vote or a partisan vote? Vote your conscience and not your party’s preference. You see, actions have consequences!
If you are a government employee and wish to continue into politics, you do not have my vote. I want someone with business experience and expertise, not a tenured servant. Also, the candidate must have a proven record. I don’t wish to hear exaggerations or tall tales, but want to hear real life challenges, experiences and success stories. You see, actions have consequences!
Words are empty unless they carry truth and passion. Deceit is aplenty in politics and accompanies a shortage in personal and professional character. What is your stance on current issues and is your record consistent with your words and representation. Mistruths are actionable and actions have consequences!
Lastly, where are people of faith? I don’t care what religion you are, but I do care about your beliefs, philosophies and agendas. Faith defines, to some degree, an individual. Actions have consequences!
