I am an Independent and do not play party politics or favoritism. I do listen to candidates/representatives for speech content and validation. If polls or factual assertions are cited, I ask for the source. My request is often ignored. Don't cite me statistics or assertions that you can't be validated. Lies or misrepresentations will not be tolerated and trust will be lost. Hold your candidates/representatives responsible.
I ask all voters to research the truthfullness of a candidate's/representative's assertions. Don't you want the truth when defining your decisions?
I find so many strategists that cite statistics, polls, or facts that are incorrect. However, these individuals are biased and/or self-serving. There is no excuse for misrepresentations or lies! Politics doesn't have to be dirty. Why aren't we holding politicians responsible for their actions?
Stay current on issues and policies that will affect you, family community and state. Research and validate assertions. Vote on substance not promises.
Don't trust the newspapers you read. I have noticed a biased spin on most articles I read. Remember, I am an Independent and have no favoritism to the Republican, nor Democratic Parties. For those of you who share my views, be independent and trust yourself!
